Like many small businesses, I started making cakes for my family and friends on special occasions.  I grew up watching my mom make cakes and was always amazed when I would see her make buttercream roses.  I have always enjoyed baking (probably because I'm not very good at cooking) and making pretty desserts.

 

With a background in art and design and the passion for baking, I combined my two favorite past times and came up with some pretty special custom cakes.  After, a pregnancy that left me on bedrest and then home with baby afterward, I decided to take my cake decorating from a side job to a full-time business.
